Joseph Bednarovsky is the President of J&I Accounting & Tax Services Inc. Before joining a colleague to start J&I Accounting during the fall of 2020; Joe was the Controller at Staffing Plus Holdings Inc. for more than twelve years where he managed a team of Accountants.
Joe supervised Collections as well as took an active role with the
clients that were more difficult to collect. Joe’s prior experience made him a
resource in many areas of the business, including working with the CFO on the preparation of schedules for the annual financial review of the organization, preparing schedules for the 401(K), serving as
a member of the investment team, preparing tax schedules for the tax accountants of multi-state tax returns.
Joe also served in the lead role of the annual application and renewal process of the business insurance program and prepared the necessary reports for the workers’ compensation audit. He managed the transition to a new registered agent for the many state registrations and added new states as business requirements grew. Joe worked to keep the necessary licenses for the business up to date. He has extensive knowledge of ADP and the generation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) forms.
Most recently Joe has been part of the team for the Payroll Protection Program for both the application of the loan as well as the forgiveness application submittal to the bank.
Prior to joining Staffing Plus, Joe worked for a Computer Training School where he also served on the team to obtain state licensure in Harrisburg, a fulfillment company, an insurance agency, and a manufacturer to name a few.
With over 30 years of Accounting experience, Joe’s vision has been to go out on his own over the past two years. Joe earned a Bachelor of Science with a major in Accounting from Philadelphia University and a Master of Business Administration from LaSalle University.
Ishaque Ibrahim is the Vice President of J&I Accounting & Tax Services Inc. Before joining a colleague to start J&I Accounting during the fall of 2020, Ishaque was the Accounting Manager at Staffing Plus Holdings Inc. where he managed a small team of Accountants.
Ishaque was involved in many aspects of the business, including the preparation of schedules for the annual financial review of the organization, schedule preparation for the 401(K) auditors, preparing tax schedules for the tax accountants of the multi-state tax returns as well as the annual renewal of the business insurance program. He also prepared the necessary reports for the workers’ compensation audit. Ishaque kept the many state registrations and necessary licenses for the business up to date.
During his tenure he obtained his ADP Payroll Specialist Certification and his Notary Public. Prior to joining Staffing Plus, Ishaque worked for an International Construction firm as a Staff Accountant/Payroll Coordinator. He also worked at a Mortgage Servicing Firm.
Ishaque earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Temple University.
